Child injuries are becoming a global health crisis. Every year, 8 000 children between the ages of one- and 14-years old die from unintentional, yet preventable, injuries. In South Africa specifically, a child is 25 times more likely to be hospitalised from preventable injuries than a child in the United Kingdom. Executive Director, Yolande Baker tells us more.
